Howard Hubert Hughes

Services for Howard Hubert Hughes, of Mill Creek, were held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 25,2023 at the DeArman Clark Chapel in Tishomingo. Interment followed in Mill Creek Cemetery.

Howard was born on October 5, 1940 in Mill Creek, to Minor and Audrey (Baker) Hughes. He passed away on Friday, April 21, 2023 in Davis, at the age of 82 years, 6 month 16 days.

He grew up in this area, graduating from Mill Creek High School. He had lived in California before returning to this area in 1975.

Howard had worked in construction and in the oil field.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and one brother.

He is survived by two daughters, Duska Waller and husband, David of Eugene, OR and Meagan Hughes of Tulsa; five sons, Barry Hughes and Fiancé, Angela of Connerville, Mark Hughes and wife, Sandra of McLoud, Jimmy Hughes of Raleigh, NC, Brad Hughes and wife, Mary of Sedalia, MO, and Cory Hughes of Tulsa; two brothers, Delwyn Hughes and Dewey Hughes; three sisters, Ethel, Joyce, and Carrie; 19 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.

Family Members will serve as pallbearers.

Arrangements are under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home of Sulphur.
