Jeana Beth Horsman

A celebration of life for Jeana Beth Horsman will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022, at the Hale’s Memorial Chapel, in Sulphur, with the Reverend Bill Leveridge officiating.

Jeana was born December 23, 1954, in El Reno, to Harold Dean and Virginia Lee (Ewing) Stone. She died on Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2022, in Sulphur, at the age of 67. Jeana and Craig Horsman were married on January 23, 1988, in Ardmore.

Jeana grew up in the Oklahoma City area, attending school in Moore. Her working career included 13 years working for the Walmart Corporation, as well as 20 years as a bookkeeper in the trucking industry.

Jeana was a very witty, free-spirited individual. She loved having fun with her family and friends and was always up for a good joke or prank. Jeana was one that never met a stranger, she could literally talk to anyone, as if she had known them for years. She was a member of the local OHCE group and won several first-place ribbons for excellent canning skills.

In her free time, Jeana enjoyed fishing, following her family and friends on Facebook, and spending quality time with her beloved family. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Craig Horsman; her beloved mother, Virginia “Ginger” Stone; her two sons, Casey Brown and wife Tracy, and Corey Brown and wife Jeri, all of Sulphur; three step-children, Scott Horsman, Tanya Wiseman, and Barrett Horsman; 30 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; six sisters, Jerrie Spragglings, Janie Avey, Jenny Kiser, Debbi Daniel, Tracy Drake, and Patricia Clark; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Jeana was preceded in death by her father, Harold Clark; her twin sister, Deana Clark; step-father, Walter “Dub” Stone; sister, Jackie Roberts; grandparents, Lee and Mabel Dudley, Leroy and Inez Wells, and Frank Ewing; step-son, Matthew Craig Horsman; aunt, Sue Ellen Henshaw; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Leo and Virginia Horsman; and sister-in-law, Cathy McLaughlin.
