A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home Chapel, Walters, on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021 with Jerrod Hall officiating.

Jimmy Dale Boxley, 71, of Walters, was born to Beech Senus and Opal Mae (Davis) Boxley on March 19, 1950 in Oklahoma City and departed this life in Lawton, on September 10, 2021 at the age of 71 years, 5 months and 22 days.

Jimmy grew up in several places as his family moved around but Walters seemed to become home. Most of his working years involved commercial drywall work at Fort Sill, Oklahoma City and Dallas, serving on the job as drywall superintendent. He married Kathryn Bernice Coffman on September 17, 1994 in Celest, TX and they continued making Walters their home.

Jimmy enjoyed fishing and anything to do with race cars and drag racing. His family was so important to him and he loved those grandkids. There were a number of young men that he treated as sons.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents; several brothers; and a grandson, William Hall.

Survivors include his wife, Kathy, of the home; two sons, Jay Boxley and Thalia Salinas of McKinney, TX, and Jerrod Hall and Summer of Stratford, OK; a daughter, Crystal McClaine of Walters; a brother, Kenneth Boxley of Temple, OK; six grandchildren, Parker Boxley, Sayla Hall, Cindy Hall, Colton Oakley, Gavin Patrick and Evan Patrick; other relatives and many friends.
