Jimmy Wayne Copeland

Jimmy Wayne Copeland, of Sulphur, passed away on Friday March 3, 2023 at the age of 70 years, 11 months and 22 days.

Jimmy was born on March 9, 1952 in Stockton, CA , to Oscar Lee and Joyce Marie(Vann) Copeland. Jimmy grew up in California where he attended school. He was married to Sheila Ann Boyd, who preceded him in death. Jimmy moved to Sulphur in 1995 and had worked in construction.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Charlie Copeland; a son, Jimmy Dewayne Copeland; and granddaughter, Kaylee Copeland.

He is survived by two sons, Johnnie Copeland and wife, Jeannetta of Sulphur and Jason Copeland, of Tahlequah; two brothers, Mel Jameson and Ricky Jameson; three sisters, Marilyn Wagenman, Rhonda Hess, and Cindy Jameson; one step-sister, Cindy Smith and seven grandchildren.

Family services will be held at a later date.
