LaDawn Jean Chaffin

LaDawn Jean Chaffin, of Davis, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at the age of 50. She was born on November 30, 1972 in Marlow. LaDawn grew up in Rush Springs, graduating in 1991 from Rush Springs High School.

She was a member of Midway Hill Baptist Church. Her grand girls were her greatest joy in life. LaDawn enjoyed working alongside her husband on the family farm.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bob Chaffin; sons, Calvin Chaffin (Kevin Zaraza) and Kevin Chaffin (Sara Chaffin); grand girls, Maggie Mae Chaffin and Millie Jo Chaffin; father, Donald Ray Caveny (Vanessa); sisters, Becky Caveny, Jennifer Mohr; and a host of many more family and friends..

She was preceded in death by mother, Judy Ruth Teel; grandparents, Melvin and Norma Jean Brumley, Donald Wayne and Bonnie Jean Caveny.

LaDawn is loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Her laughter and sense of humor will not be forgotten. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 29 at Midway Hill Baptist Church with Pastors Willard McCartney Jr. and David Hale officiating. She was interred at Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur.
