Paul “Frenchie” Lorenzino, Jr.

On April 8, 2023, Paul “Frenchie” Lorenzino, Jr. died in Sherman, Texas at the age of 90. Paul was born on October 23, 1932, in Gallup, NM. He graduated from Sulphur High School in 1950. He enlisted in the United States Navy and served until January 1955. Paul attended the University of Oklahoma, graduating in 1959 with a degree in electrical engineering. He worked for Halliburton until he retired in December 1991.

Paul is survived by wife of 66 years, Ila Ann (Nichols) Lorenzino; his children, Paula Gayle Inge, of Atoka, Lizanne Scott and her husband Darrell, of Afton, and Jon David Lorenzino and his wife, Lori of Springfield, MO; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Lorenzino, Sr. and Katie (Brown) Lorenzino, step-brother Jimmy Lorenzino and granddaughter, Sara Jayne Burrage.

A graveside memorial service will be held at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur, on a date yet determined. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association, in honor of Paul’s wife, Ann and other family members that have been afflicted with such a devastating disease.
