Robert T. “Tinker” Crittenden

Robert T. “Tinker” Crittenden was born on June 30, 1934 in Tahlequah to Fred and Lucille (Kirk) Crittenden. He passed away on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2024 in Sulphur at the age of 75 years, six months and six days Tinker grew up inArkansas and later in Sulphur where he attended school. He had worked at several jobs including communications and O’Reilly Auto Parts. He attended the First Freewill Baptist Church in Sulphur.

Tinker was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Symone; and a sister, Susie.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Battles; three daughters, Missy Hays, Amber Crittenden, and Ashley Dunn; two sons, Ralph Crittenden, Jr. (Bubba), and Richie Pettifer; three brothers, Billy, Fred, and Robert Crittenden; two sisters, Ann Woodell and Earnestine Younger; several grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2024 at the Dougherty Cemetery with Rev. Dick Terry officiating. Interment will follow under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home of Sulphur.
