Services for Sara Beth Hill, of Sulphur, were held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021 at Sulphur United Methodist Church officiated by Pastors Kent and Kathy Nobles. Interment followed in Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur.

Beth was born June 14, 1942 in Ada, to Calvin and Georgia (Stripling) McCord. She passed away Thursday, Dec. 2, 2021 in Oklahoma City, at the age of 79 years, five months and 18 days.

Beth married Jerry Lee Hill in Ada, on June 16, 1964. He preceded her in death May 7,1991.

Beth was a member of the United Methodist Church of Sulphur. She was devoted member of the family of Christ and loved her family very much.

She graduated from Ada High School in 1960 and received her bachelors of education from East Central University.

Her passion was teaching and caring for the young. Her passion lead her to nurture the children at the nursery for church.

She was a teacher for Sulphur Elementary School. She enjoyed being involved in United Methodist Women and Sun Shiner�s.

Her hobbies were walking in the park, snow skiing, sewing, and gardening. She loved cooking for her family.

She enjoyed many ski trips with the church and family.

Also preceding here in death by was her father, Calvin and mother, Georgia McCord; brothers, Don and Doug McCord; brothers-in-law, Don Hill and Don Nobles.

She is survived by her daughter, Shelly Stratton and her three children, Jerritt, Jaxon and Jazmin, of Sulphur; her son, Greg Hill and his fiancé, Brandy Thompson, of Blanchard and their three children Ty, Ethan, and Macie, of Blanchard and great grandson Colton and Clyde; her son-in-law and daughter, Ted and Amy Arellano, their three children Angelica, Teddy and Ava and great grandchildren, Colton and Channing; her sisters-in-law, Claudel White, Fran Nobles, Jamae Hill and Jeanie McCord and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Jerritt Larson, Jasmin Stratton, Jaxon Stratton, Teddy Arellano, Ethan Weatherford, Ty Weatherford, Angelica Stewart, Ava Arellano and Macie Weatherford.
