Wayne Bailey Lowrance

Wayne Bailey Lowrance, of Sulphur, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2023 at the age of 84 years, 10 months and 29 days.

Wayne was born on May 8, 1938 in Murray County to W. B. and Alice Marie (Bailey) Lowrance.

Wayne lived in Sulphur most of his life where he graduated from Sulphur High School. He had lived in Ada for a period of time where he trained race horses and was a calf roper. After living in Ada, he returned to Sulphur. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves from 1961 to 1962.

Wayne married Dona Cunnish on August 5, 1998 in Sulphur. She preceded him in death. He was also preceded by his parents; sister, Pat Taylor; and brothers, Kenny and Joe Lowrance.

Wayne is survived by two stepchildren and nieces and cousins. At Wayne’s request, no services are scheduled but a viewing was held Monday and Tuesday at DeArman Funeral Home .
