911 Director Resigns; Officials Seize Office Computers, Hard Drive

The Murray County 911 Board accepted the resignation of 911 Mapping and Office Director Gary Ligon at a specially called meeting of the board last Wednesday evening at the Sulphur city complex. Three members of the five-member board were present at the meeting.
Ligon’s resignation came in the wake of a search warrant being issued by the district judge and executed by the District Attorney and the Murray County Sheriff’s Office. The warrant was issued to search the office of Ligon as well as the 911 vehicle.
