Hall Of Fame Marine Vet Keynotes Program

James Terry Johnson is a veteran who had his own “crowded hour” while in combat in Vietnam. The Marine saw a lot of hairy fighting in one of the hottest combat zones in ‘Nam in 1968-’69. He served in the I Corps in South Vietnam close to the border with North Vietnam, often engaging with the North Vietnamese Army.
Johnson was the guest speaker at the Veterans Day Program held Wednesday, Nov. 9 at the Sulphur Veterans Center. It was noted that he was recently inducted into the Oklahoma Military Hall of Fame.
