School Officials Report $5 - $6M In Storm Damage

The iconic Hassen Building, at West 2nd & Muskogee St., in the historic downtown Sulphur area, sustained major damage in the April 27 tornado. There were several businesses in the building, all of which incurred some damage.Those businesses were among more than 60 sustaining damage when the EF-3+ twister plowed through Flower Park in CNRA, then through the downtown area, flattening businesses and homes.
