Virus Remains In Area Amid Opening Of Communities, State Health Official Warns
As communities across the southern Oklahoma area begin to open up after weeks of sheltering at home from the COVID 19 virus, Regional Administrative Director of the State Health Department, Wendy Spohn, of Ardmore, this week had some advice for local citizens.
“It is very important for our messages to be clear about staying away from groups or in the public if we are sick,” she said. “If a person feels the need to get tested because of illness or contact to someone, it is a smart idea for that person to not attend parties or functions where groups gather until their test result is known.”
