Donald Jack Vogt

Donald Jack Vogt was born January 13, 1943 in Dennison, IA to the late Jack and Minnie (Namanny) Vogt. He died Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021 in Oklahoma City, at the age of 77.

Donald grew up in the Dennison area. Early in his life, he served in the Army National Guard. Throughout his working years, Donald worked as a truck driver, transporting commercial trucks. He truly enjoyed his career as a driver and spoke of it often. Donald moved to the Sulphur area in 2006. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, cutting wood and mechanics.

Survivors include his sister, Colleen Ashfield, of Vancouver, WA; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Donald was preceded in death by two brothers, DeWayne and Gary Vogt; and two sisters, Yvonne Brown and Unabelle Vogt.

Burial will be held in the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Dennison, IA.

Services were entrusted to Hale’s Funeral Home of Sulphur.
