Mary Jo Hardoin left this world to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, March 8, at the age of 80 years, 7 months and 27 days. She was born July 11, 1937 at Nebo, Oklahoma to Tommy H. Willie (Shockley) Caldwell. She married James Hardoin on February 12, 1956 in Gainesville, Texas. The couple just celebrated 62 years of marriage. Mary grew up in the Sulphur area and attended Sulphur High School. The wife of a pastor, she and her husband James, spread the word of God in several churches in Montana, Kansas and Oklahoma. Mary and James owned several furniture and clothing stores. Mary was very involved in all activities of the church, and being a ventriloquist, she ministered to children and grown-ups in a very unique way. She was a devout minister of the gospel involved with teaching the word of God She also worked as a nurse for several years in Montana and Oklahoma. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tommy and Willie Caldwell; four brothers, Von Caldwell, Verdie Caldwell, Tommy Caldwell, Jr. Vernon Caldwell and one sister, Vida Brewer. She is survived by her husband, James Hardoin, of Sulphur; daughter and son-in-law, Mahona Moore and Clint, of Lebanon, Okla.; son and daughter-in-law, Mike Hardoin and Janie, of Sulphur; adopted great granddaughter, Haven Hardoin, of Lone Grove; four grandchildren, Hether Leming, of Ardmore, Micah Gutierrez, of Oklahoma City, Jeremy Hardoin, of Sulphur and Jodi Pickens, of Dallas, Texas; seven great grandchildren, Malan Hardoin, Hayze Franks, Destin Franks, Drake Leming, Grady Hardoin, Addy Hardoin, Haven Hardoin and one sister, Vivian Baker, of Helena, Montana.
