Graveside services for Robert William Moore, 96, Sulphur, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 31at Oaklawn Cemetery with Rev Jim Shepherd officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home of Sulphur. Born February 8, 1921 in Oklahoma City, to Warren S. and Beulah Mae (Pringle) Moore, he passed away Monday, Jan. 29, in Sulphur at the age of 96 years, 11 months and 21 days. He was married to Dorothy (Vandyck) Moore. She preceded him in death February 8, 2008. Raised in Oklahoma City, he was a veteran of the Koran conflict having served in the U.S. Navy. After his military service, he returned to the Oklahoma City and Moore area where he was a home builder. He had lived in Sulphur the past several years and attended the Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Warren Moore, Jr., and a sister, Dorothy Jean Hanke. Surviving are by his brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Jeanie Moore of Sulphur and nieces and nephews.
