Ombudsman Volunteer Training Set At Hospital

Ready to make a difference in someone’s life? Become an Ombudsman Volunteer……

The Ombudsman volunteers receive free training, and are state-certified to investigate and resolve issues for residents in long-term facilities. Ombudsmen Volunteers offer residents a way to express their concerns and to have their issues addressed. When a resident, family member or friend voices a concern and asks the ombudsman to assist, the ombudsman works with the resident and facility staff to resolve the issue.

Ombudsman volunteers are individuals with compassion and a listening ear, who give 2 hours weekly to help residents live their lives with dignity and respect.
