State Lawmakers Mull Looming Issues In 2020
OKLAHOMA CITY – Leaders in the Oklahoma Legislature weighed in on some important issues facing the state and laid out priorities for the coming year during a forum staged last week by the State Chamber of Oklahoma.
Senate President Pro Tempore Greg Treat, House Speaker Charles McCall, Senate Democratic Leader Kay Floyd and House Democratic Leader Emily Virgin fielded questions for about 40 minutes posed by Chamber President Fred Morgan on topics ranging from the future of tribal gaming in Oklahoma to an effort underway to change the way legislative districts are drawn in the state.
Several hundred guests turned out for the forum held at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum.
