Dogs Roll To Impressive, 49-21 Win Over Madill In Season Opener In Sulphur

Sulphur used a familiar formula in its’ opening contest last Friday, as they dominated on the ground in rout to a 49-21 win over Madill.

The Dogs ran for 295 yards on 39 carries, while sophomore quarterback Reese Ratchford showed out in his first start to lead a potent Sulphur offense. “We played really good on offense,” Dixon said. “We executed well and everyone did their job from the backs to the line to the quarterbacks and receivers.” Ratchford was 6-of-8 passing for 109 yards and a score. He also ran four times for 38 yards and a touchdown.
