Sulphur girls and boys cross country teams wrapped up the season with solid performances in the state meet last week in Shawnee.The girls finished 12th and boys 17th.The teams are pictured above. Boys, Girls Wrap Up Season With Solid Efforts In CC Meet
The Sulphur cross country teams wrapped up their seasons this past Saturday at the Class 4A State Meet in Shawnee. The girls finished 12th as a team and the boys came in 17th, bothculminating great seasons for the programs. Both teams ran well at regionals two weeks ago and had solid performances at the state meet. The girls team was led by Jaidyn Vallandingham, who finished 43rd overall with a time of 13:46 in the two mile run. Carlee Cole was the second highest finisher for Sulphur, coming in 82nd with a time of 14:14. Hannah Priest was 86th and Adrianna Dennis was 87th for Sulphur. Priest ran 14:19 and Dennis ran 14:20. Iris Gonzales came in 121st with a time of 15:13. Cassi Matlack was 139th with a time of 15:39.
