Bulldogs Hope To Get Back On Track Friday At OKC Douglass

The Dogs will look to get back on track this week, when they take their final road trip of the regular season to face a winless Douglass squad on Friday night.

The Dogs (6-2, 3-2) are coming off back-to-back losses for the first time in a long time, losing to Marlow at home last week 26-12, just a week after the heartbreaking loss to Plainview 24-22 on the last second field goal.

And as the Dogs take on a Douglass team that is 0-8, Sulphur head coach Jim Dixon is focused on the Dogs improving and proving something.

“We had better be ready to play every week,” he said. “We have something to prove, in my opinion.”

“Last week we weren’t ready to play, didn’t play well and got it handed to us. So we better make sure we do everything we can to make sure that doesn’t happen again this week.”
