Lady Bulldogs Pin Hopes For 2020 Season On New, Familiar Names
The Sulphur Lady Bulldogs are anxious to get back on the softball field and they will do it this fall with a bunch of new girls in new roles.
Sulphur replaces several allstaters and key members of a four year run that was as good as any in school history.
The Lady Dogs finished 27-7 last season and made the state tournament, but lost seniors Makella Mobly, Kenzie Ruth, Kady Lynch and Abby Beck to graduation.
Head coach Heath Gilbert will call on some familiar names to step into bigger roles this fall.
“We should be able to have a good year,” Gilbert said. “We still have a core of our team coming back.”
