Perfect Storm Dooms Dogs
What started as a stormy night with a couple of rain delays, ended in a game to forget for Sulphur, as they fell to Heritage Hall 50-14 in the Class 3A State Championship game on Friday night at Western Heights High School.
The game was delayed 80 minutes to start and once it did, was delayed again soon after.
Heritage Hall took the opening kickoff and moved down the field in just 2:26, scoring in six plays on a 43 yards pass from Jackson Jobe to Conner Carey. After the extra point was good and it was 7-0, the game was delayed again, as players and fans were shuffled back indoors.
