Arguably Sulphur’s longest-standing event will be coming this weekend when the 76th annual Hereford Heaven Stampede and Open Rodeo kicks off two nightly performances Friday and Saturday.
Sulphur’s seven-decades-old gymnasium and a classroom annex, above, and the adjoining auditorium, at right, will soon be a coming down when work begins on the school’s new facilities approved by voters last year. Some of the new projects include a new gym, performing arts center, career tech center, classrooms and much more.
