“Spring is in the air” is the report from my weekend front porch listening post, where I was social distancing as the local song birds were broadcasting from the tree tops. National weather service is forecasting the next two weeks a ‘warmer than normal’ temperatures, and with all the rain we’ve received, many folks are eager to get spring garden planted. One of the most prudent first steps is to take a soil sample from the garden area and drop it by the Murray County Extension office.
