Tommy Ray Persinger

Tommy Ray Persinger was born January 19, 1943 in Konawa, Oklahoma to William Persinger and Janie (Davis) Persinger. He graduated from Rattan High School in 1961 and served in the U.S. Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam. He married Dianna Taylor January 22, 1964. Most of his adult life he was involved in highway construction and maintenance. After he retired from ODOT in 2003, they enjoyed spending time as full-time RVers traveling in their motor home. Tommy loved to bass fish and also enjoyed watching Rattan ballgames where he was always good for a funny story shared with some of his friends. He also loved to re-purpose or “fix” things and you can find gorilla tape and glue on almost anything he owned. He often took his power wheelchair outside and had to be rescued numerous times when he got it stuck.

Russell Bryant Beck

Mr. Russell Bryant Beck, 57 of Lone Grove departed from this life on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at his home surrounded by family. A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.. Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021 at Mary Niblack Church in Ardmore with Derek Crawford officiating. Cremation services are under the care and direction of Alexander Gray Funeral Home and Crematory.

Deanna J. Cox

Deanna J. Cox, of Sulphur, was born April 20, 1943 in El Reno, to Robert E Lee and Laverne (Stringer) Jolliff. She passed away Saturday, Dec. 18, 2021 in Sulphur, at the age of 78 years, 7 months and 28 days.
