Services for Kenny Vess Lowrance, 81, Sulphur, were held at 3:00 p.m., Wednesday, Sept. 29, at Sulphur United Methodist Church officiated by Shawn Williams. Burial was at Lowrance Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home.

Janice Marie “Wynema” Batson entered heaven’s gate on September 24, 2021. She stood strong in her faith and loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart. She was born in Guthrie on September 15, 1945, to the late John and Louise Whitehorn.
Those reading this can be sure Jan Fisher considered them a friend. She was a warm and principled person and a tremendous comforter. Jan’s family couldn’t be more proud to have learned from her the values of resilience, compassion, kindness, and doing right and good. She made many sacrifices for her family but always left room for her dry sense of humor and the joy of an occasional gag. Jan was perfectly content with finding joy in the simplest things and had a great love of nature, science, and— most of all— children.
Bill Williams, age 89, of Sulphur, died early Tuesday, September 14, 2021, following a massive stoke the previous Thursday evening. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 1, 2021 at Crossway Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Leveridge and Thomas Thompson officiating. He was born Billy Duane Williams to Thomas Bryan Williams and Delia Stella (Smith) Williams in Lockney, TX on December 18, 1931.
