William Gene “Bill” Mayo, 88, passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022, at Mercy Hospital in Ardmore, Oklahoma surrounded by his family. Bill was born on May 11, 1934, to George Washington Mayo and Lorene (Brown) Mayo in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He moved with his grandmother, Willie Bowers, to Sulphur, Oklahoma in 1948 and graduated Sulphur High School with the class of 1952.
Funeral services for Michael Lynn “Mike” Bixler were held 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Hale’s Memorial Chapel, in Davis, with Pastor Duwayne Colvin officiating.
Services for Charles Randall Kirby, 73, Sulphur, were held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 12, at Central Baptist Church officiated by Rev. Eddie Dye Interment followed at Drake Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home.
Funeral services for Adelia Elaine Robinson, 84, Davis, will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Wednesday, July 13, at Hale’s Memorial Chapel in Davis, with Pastor Willard McCartney, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at the Green Hill Cemetery in Davis.
Bill Don Melton - Shuffleboard legend, tooth maker, husband, father and friend has passed away. Bill was born On Oct. 30, 1935, around St. Louis, Okla., in a one room shack. Bill passed away in his home surrounded by his family on June 29, 2022, in Davis, Okla.
