75th Anniversary Queen

Nine-year-old Ella Vestal, of Reagan, right photo, was crowned queen of the 75th annual Hereford Heaven Stampede and Rodeo in ceremonies last Saturday. Ella is a fourth grader at Mill Creek and is a member of the South Central Youth Rodeo Association where she competes in barrel racing, pole bending, and goat tying. She is also a member of the NBHA and recently won her first buckle as the Youth 3D Champion of the Summer Showdown Series.

Sulphur collegiate athlete, Dawson Muck, in wheel chair, is greeted by his sister, Destrie, after returning home last week from months of rehab and surgeries following a head-to-chest collision in an April baseball game. Also on hand to greet him was a large gathering of relatives, friends, well-wishers and supporters.
