An alleged “major methamphetamine dealer” in this area was arrested on March 9 and her bank funds seized after a traffic stop in Sulphur, according to a report from the Murray County Sheriff’s Office.
Five people were taken into custody since February 24 and charged with various offenses following two routine traffic stops and a dangerous pursuit on ice-covered roads, according to Murray County Undersheriff Jay McClure.

America’s largest veterans’ service organization, the American Legion, is marking its 103rd birthday March 15- 17. The Legion has nearly 2 million members. The organization now admits as members any honorably discharged military veterans who served with any service branch at any time from Dec. 7, 1941 until the present day.
