Barbara Joan “Babs” Oglesby was born July 15, 1942, in Shreveport, LA to the late W. P. and D. Floread (Timmons) Mabry. She died on Tuesday, June 1, 2021, in Ardmore, at the age of 78 years, 10 months and 16 days. Babs and Gordon A. Oglesby were united in marriage on September 21, 1966, in Shreveport. He preceded her in death on December 1, 1990.
Graveside services for Donald Jess “Don” McGregor will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, June 4, 2021 at the Oaklawn Cemetery in Sulphur with Reverend Fred Bailey officiating.
Services for Valerie Lynn Britt, 54, of Sulphur, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, June 3, 2021 at Crossway Baptist Church with Rev. Bill Leveridge officiating. Burial will be at Dolberg Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home, of Sulphur.
Betty Jo (Palmer) West was born September 12, 1947, in Sulphur, to the late J.D. and Jean Rose (Driver) Palmer. She went to her forever home with the Lord on Friday, May 28, 2021, in Jones, at the age of 73 years, 8 months and 16 days. Betty and Ronald Eugene “Ronnie” West were united in marriage in Sulphur. He preceded her in death on August 7, 2006.
Services for Lavern Madden Collins, 90, of Sulphur, were held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at DeArman’s Funeral Chapel officiated by David Benn. Burial was at Oaklawn Cemetery under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home, of Sulphur.
