August 10, 1941 – May 14, 2023 Dorothy Faye was born on August 10, 1941 to James Everett Suther and Goldie May Baker-Suther. Dorothy was the sixth child born of eight children. She is survived by her younger sister, Mary Leah Suther-Carper of Davis, and her youngest sister, Susan Paulette Suther-Christian of Stonewall.
Services for Patsy Marie McCarley, 82, of Sulphur, will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 13 at the Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Hefley officiating. Interment will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Born March 19, 1941 in Wynnewood to Orval Daniel and Johanna Marie (Weeks) Lawrence, she passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2023 in Sulphur.
Lora Marie Bonifanti was born March 14, 1940, in Davis, to the late Ervin M. and Iver J. (Stephens) Skaggs. She died on Friday, April 28, 2023, in Sulphur, at the age of 83 years, 1 month and 14 days.
Mamie Ruth (Shipley) West was born May 19, 1931, in Wynnewood, to the late George Wesley and Oneida (Huitt) Shipley. She passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at the age of 91 years, 11 months, and 14 days. She and A.L. West were married on January 6, 1947. He preceded her in death on April 4, 1994.
Services for John Stephen Henderson, a resident of Elmore City, will be held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 16, at the Hale’s Memorial Chapel, in Davis, with Toby Long officiating.
