LaDawn Jean Chaffin, of Davis, passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at the age of 50. She was born on November 30, 1972 in Marlow. LaDawn grew up in Rush Springs, graduating in 1991 from Rush Springs High School.
Services for Howard Hubert Hughes, of Mill Creek, were held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 25,2023 at the DeArman Clark Chapel in Tishomingo. Interment followed in Mill Creek Cemetery.
Angela Renee Jones, of Sulphur, passed away Sunday April 23, 2023 in Sulphur, at the age of 47 years, one month and 18 days.
Donna Fae Johnston was born July 7, 1941, in Chickasha, to the late Walter and Ruby Lee (Post) Cooper. She died on Tuesday, April 18, in Davis, at the age of 81. She and Charles Roy Johnston, Sr. were married on August 3, 1957, in Wichita Falls, TX. He preceded her in death on September 25, 2009.
Funeral services for Lewie Paul Fortner, 87, Tupelo, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 19 at the First Baptist Church in Tupelo. Interment will follow at the Byrds Prairie Cemetery in Tupelo. Paul was born July 24, 1935 in Lula, OK to Thomas Henry Fortner and Loas May Brooks Fortner. He died April 16 in Sulphur surrounded by his family.
