June Aldean Albright
June Aldean (McDonald) Albright, a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother left this world on January 11, 2023 to be joined with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She passed away after a prolonged period of physical and mental decline associated with dementia. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, W. Joe Albright; three sons, Todd (Cheryl), Ty (Diane) and Tawn (Christele); seven grandchildren, one great grandchild; her twin sister, Joy Anderson; and brother, James McDonald She was born in Bristow, on May 12, 1934. Her parents, James Holland and Ebal McDonald had not expected twins upon her birth. June and Joy were forever connected. June grew up in Allen, and cherished her upbringing there. She would always say, “I had such a happy wonderful life living in a rural, small-town community. I felt safe, loved and special”. Her days were filled with activities of basketball, choir and band. She made lifetime friends with her classmates and cherished their annual high school reunions.
